"The best thing about this property is Edmond. He is the best host I have had in my many years of frequent travel. What a guy. The place itself is great and the rooms and simple but worth the stay. It's way below the otherwise expensive rooms in Aruba and you get basically the same thing except no Edmond in those other hotels. So stay here instead!!"

"Beware when you book Divi hotels Aruba.We chose all inclusive & paid good $ and they put us up at the Divi Dutch village and told us that the all inclusive was not included.They wanted us to pay $200-$250 per adult each day for the all inclusive package!We were upset but ate dinners and some breakfast outside the resort and on site because Aruba has great food and great restaurants so we made the best of our 5 day trip."

"We had a great time. We were there for three weeks. The pool was beautiful warm and clean the properties. Very pretty many plantings everywhere. Even the animals hung around once in a while. We’re very friendly purring cat on your lap on vacation is kind of cool. Our host Barbara was very attentive to our needs and questions about Aruba. "t was the worst experience. We arrived and they couldn’t find our reservation. Then, after we showed them the reservation details, they said it wasn’t paid and that we had to pay again. When we told them we were going to call to verify the payment, they just slammed the door in our faces, never opened it again, and didn’t answer any more calls. We had to find another hotel. They should remove this recommendation from Expedia — it makes the website look bad with the terrible service they provide."

"This was our 5th time on the island , our first attempt non all inclusive which we had concerns about costs . The option having our own kitchen was perfect, beach chairs , cooler with dishes and ice packs to take to the beaches, our own out door space and a shared clean pool that was mostly to ourselves. Private gated parking and a quiet neighbour hood to get away from the louder palm beach area we are used too. Car is reccomended ,mostly everything was within 10 minute drive . The hosts were...

"Everything was perfect. The room was spotless, the staff were courteous and wonderful amenities. The ocean view from the room and resort was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again."

"When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00...
