"Would definitely revisit! The birds are a problem when it comes to eating outside. The pool is beautifully maintained which is why it surprises me that they do not pay as much attention to deck and lounge chairs. We had to wipe bird dropping off of every lounge chairs we sat in. "

"When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00...

"Elite Club oceanfront room with 2 balconies! The resort was immaculate, amenities were great. Elite Club private pool & ability to make reservations instead of having to line up at the specialty restaurants made the trip even better."

"Overall a great experience. This was our second trip to the Riu in Aruba, our first trip was 10 years ago to the adults only side of the hotel. We do prefer the family friendly side as the pool is larger and there are more restaurants and amenities to choose from. We did a quicker trip this time, and were there over the weekend and only 2 weekdays. The weekend there was minimal to no construction which was great, and on the weekdays the construction wasn't too disruptive. The only issue was they...

"The Holiday Inn Aruba had a terrific location. We were waterfront on a beautiful strip of sandy beach and turquoise waters. The restaurants on site provided decent food and a selection of dining options. The only negative was a lengthy checkin procedure. It shouldn't take that long to check in. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back."
