Riu properties are corporate ran with zero concern for guest and will take advantage of any situation to squeeze more money from there guests. I would recommend never staying here , there are many resorts around that are much better

Great location and gorgeous beach, however the resort lacks amenities. No sports bar, no activities room (e.g. pool tables, foosball tables, shuffleboard). Also the hallway carpeting is old and dirty and they use a strong chemical detergent to try to mask the smell. Food at restaurants very good however they have to start using a reservation system instead of having people start lining up before 6:00 to enter the restaurants. The STAFF absolutely fantastic across all areas.

We were in an Elite Club room. The room itself was ok. Nothing especially noteworthy. The club restaurant and lounge were outstanding. The staff were so much fun. Private pool with bar. The other restaurants were good. Not much entertainment. Would have liked live music in some bars. Beach was the best!!

An Amazing Anniversary Getaway! My husband and I stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive in Noord, Aruba for our anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. The cleaning staff went above and beyond to help my husband surprise me with a beautifully decorated room. Walking in to see balloons and towel art of two swans kissing was such a special touch and made our anniversary feel even more memorable. The poolside buffets were always fresh and delicious, with an amazing variety of options every day — from hamburgers fresh off the grill to pork chops, pasta, and incredibly sweet fruit. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Dinner at the steakhouse was also delicious — the surf and turf is a must-try! The wait staff was outstanding and made us feel so welcome. They even remembered us from day to day, which made the experience feel personal and warm. The poolside bartenders were fantastic, and the entertainment team kept the energy up the entire time. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of music, from hip hop to country, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. And of course, the location is absolutely breathtaking. You are literally steps away from the whitest sand and the clearest, bluest ocean I have ever seen. It felt like paradise every single day. I’ve been to many Caribbean all-inclusive resorts, and they always had a very friendly activity staff over here. We never met one of them. They never said what the activities were gonna be and so we missed them although they were not many as you walked through the lobby, I feel that no one was very friendly. The place was gorgeous. The food was excellent, but the the ambience of the staff was not except for the bar people. We also had a problem trying to get our money back for a person that did not show up. They said we had to go to Expedia in. Expedia said we had to go to the Rio here it is we are home and still no answer that was $2200. I don’t know about you but that was a lot of money for us. I wish someone would help us with this. We’d be very helpful and I would change this review in a moment because the worst thing was not getting a $2200

Nice hotel, Deal was included $590 credit per room per stay, but the hotel did not honor it and gave a bunch of useless coupons instead.

Only negative is you have to wait 20 minutes for a taxi each time you go somewhere. Plan accordingly.

I wouldn’t recommend this property if somebody gave it for free. I’ve been through plenty of different rius, and this one was by far the worst one ever.. they have rules and regulations like you are a child. The staff gave so much attitude and this is my first time in Aruba. They were supposed to be nice supposedly. They don’t have beach service so you go and get your own drinks by the pool bar where you can only get two drinks a person so everyone has to get up themselves. They don’t give shots. But they will give you it over ice then the towel boys we wanted to get clean towels and then he told us don’t give attitude they don’t take restaurant reservation, which is totally fine but restaurant the steakhouse opens at 6 PM and people are waiting in line at 5 PM to get a table. If you want any cabana that’s in front of the beach we had to wake up every single day at 5 AM to go get it because everybody was reserving it, which was ridiculous. The food actually wasn’t horrible. It was pretty decent. The alcohol on the other hand was horrible the most horrible selection the top tequila. They had Jose Cuevo that’s disgusting. Only if you get elite club, then you will get better alcohol. But they cannot upgrade you unless they upgrade your room, which is another ridiculous thing. The rooms are a bit outdated. They need to be remodeled. The carpet in the hallway is disgusting. Looks dirty as hell. i’m not wanting to complain and write bad reviews but literally we had such a horrible.

The RIU Antilles exceeded my expectations. It’s been renovated with up-to-date bathroom and shower. Smart TV, up-to-date furniture. The lobby was amazing. The pool area is beautiful and it’s just steps from the beach. All of the restaurants were amazing. I loved the coffee cafe. The staff were THE BEST!! Definitely going back!

Great resort experience overall. The buffet and restaurants were excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Special thanks to Angelique/Angela, Astrid, and Yami for going above and beyond—they truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

The Riu Antillas was absolutely amazing. The scenery and location was perfect. The service was great. I got the Jr. Sunset Suite that had a beautiful view of the ocean and we saw a few Aruba sunsets. Overall the experience was fantastic and can't wait to go back!
