"Breakfast has different items to choose from. Unfortunately the eggs, sausage and other items on that selection bar are not hot. They are warm. They sit under an open lid that lets the heat out. I wish there was a microwave to heat the food."

"The place is seriously dated and in need of upgrades. My curtains were torn and unusable and with the sun beating in on one of those 100 degree days I was nonplussed. A quick discussion with the very accommodating desk clerk had the curtain “fixed” in no time (still needed replacement because it now couldn’t be opened - Lol.) "This is crack central. Dangerous for alone travelers. I was afraid in the parking lot. Avoid this place like the plague. When I checked in I saw the condition of the office and I knew how the room would be. I asked for refund and was told Expedia would contact the owners for a refund. Of course they were unable to reach them. That tells me they know how bad it is. Pass this place up."

"The resort and our room was clean. This resort is very well maintained. All the staffs was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the Rod and Reel Restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday. There was no shows outside atrium due to rainfall. I will definitely revisit the Rod and Reel Resort."

I tried to get in touch with the staff, but they did not answer so I just went to the dollar store and bought what I needed. Again for the price it can’t be beat. Just know you’re not in a Hilton."
