"We were told that the property was very close to the train station. So close you could almost see it. When we arrived we realized not true and the owner suggest we should drive because we would likely be very tired after the trip you the canyon to walk back anyway. Room was ok. Lamp was reported broken but not fixed. Just ok. Lots of other options in town."

"I choose Motel 6 because back in the '70's, when the kids were little, we stayed at Motel 6. To be fair this particular motel had been closed, recently bought and I think it is being renovated. The walls and ceilings had been painted and I think the flooring was new. However, there were two beds and a table that were attached to wall, and two uncomfortable wooden chairs as furnishing. "We recently stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williams and had a good overall experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. My boys especially enjoyed the pool, which was a nice way for them to burn off some energy after a day of traveling. My only disappointment was the breakfast. "Front office staff was friendly and helpful, though the first thing the manager let me know is that there is no ice machine available on the property. "When I booked the room, I didn't know it was in such a bad area. We had a very expensive classic car with us and didn't feel comfortable staying there. Also, the exterior painting was terrible. I booked a room at another hotel and felt much safer."

"It was fast and easy to check in. The property had a lot to be desired the room ,there was one light and there were 3 that were burned out. There were no soap or conditioner in the showers, there were no tables to put your belongings. Other than that, I rate you 2 stars, maybe.
