"First off check in was quick and easy. From the time the exterior doors opened to the lobby you were greeted with a good afternoon how was your trip? Everyone my wife and I came in contact with wore a smile and greeted you in some fashion. Everyone seemed to really enjoy working there and were glad to assist you or answer any questions you might have. The room was spotless and had everything you would ever need. "This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure."

"The welcoming spaces still allowed for privacy while providing the most wonderful comforts such as cold and hot drinks, books,board games and a garden retreat. Our room could be kept at our preferred temperature with an individual, quiet cooling unit that didn't block the garden view. The morning breakfast included a delightful menu at a unique gourmet level."

"I enjoyed relaxing by the firepit. The only thing that could of made it a better stay would be free breakfast or at least coffee and tea. They have a Starbucks and area where you can purchase items but it was more like self serve and pay at reception desk."
