"We’ve stayed here several times because it’s convenient for where we want to be. Some rooms are more attractive than others- we stayed in a 2nd floor with a view of Buttermilk, which is much more impressive in the winter.
Breakfast was good. Didn’t sample the BBQ this time, but it’s popular."
"We stayed in the hostel section with the shared bathrooms. Our room was very small but it was clean and the bathrooms were also well maintained. The staff was very helpful. Great experience!"
"We stayed at Hotel Durand for a quick one night trip to Aspen. For the price and location, this place can’t be beat. It was clean and the room cozy. A very nice sized (excellent water pressure with lots of hot water) bathroom. The location is great and the owner/host was very helpful. This is one of the last remaining local Aspen hotels. It is small and there aren’t any frills, but it has all we needed. Keep in mind there isn’t an elevator so if you have a lot of luggage request a lower floor. Parking can also be a little tricky. I parked on the street but did have to circle for a bit before finding one. Overall, I would stay here again."
"The Gant was amazing! All of the comfort of a vacation rental with the amenities of a hotel. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly, the shuttles into town were invaluable and the rooms were more than comfortable. If we visit aspen again I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
"Great location that’s within walking distance of downtown. We were given all kinds of great information on Aspen when we checked in. Our room was very nice and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again."
"The staff was lovely. Tracy at the front desk was incredibly helpful and cordial. She helped us reserve a ride to the airport that was less expensive than Uber.
The room was nicely apportioned. The only thing was the neighbors in the next room were a bit loud — they were watching sports.
But otherwise everything was wonderful. We’d stay there again."
