"The location was perfect as we were there to go hiking and see Maroon Bells. This is a skin-in ski-out inn and it shows that is its purpose. Great location, ski lockers, large rooms, decent restaurant, on-site laundry, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the inn’s age shows and doesn’t appear they have attempted to keep up much. "The room and premises were very clean. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as you sit at a table and they wait on you. There are self serve options as well. The dining room is large with multiple tables that can sit 6 to 8. Plus smaller tables for smaller groups or a single person. There was a special each morning: one day it was avocado toast with sliced boiled egg and sliced tomatoes. "I have stayed at the Limelight property in Aspen dozens of times, and this was my first time trying the newer sister property in Snowmass. In general it had a very similar, pleasant, casual mid-range vibe with valued extras including the breakfast buffet and occasional free live music.
