"This hotel is excellent for families and one of the only around with a suite large enough for all. Absolutely fabulous views of the bridge. Our teen boys LOVED the daily breakfast, and our 7 year old was constantly watching the birds on the shoreline and the ships going by. Small but clean and saltwater(!) pool. Trolley stop right behind the hotel, and 20 minute walk from downtown. Our only negative was the room was missing a tv (not a big deal to us, but our teens complained). Overall a great...

"Pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, and it was like a little apartment. It was clean, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Definitely one of the better places we have stayed! The only minor things that could be improved on is the lighting in the living room / kitchen area was pretty dim, and the soap / shower gel / shampoo dispensers in the bathroom did not dispense very much at a time so it was difficult to get a reasonable amount. "Expedia assured there was parking within the compound but when I got there at 7:30 I had to leave my van loaded with valuable equipment in front of a restaurant and right on the sidewalk. I hauled the most. precious items into my room and was not broken into but felt misled. I did not sleep well worrying about the van, especially considering the large number of homeless camps nearby"

"Limited parking and when fully booked you have to pay to park in the Port parking that surrounds the hotel. One or more units damaged by a recent car accident. Our unit’s sinks were both clogged, no alternative accommodations or other offers made. 2 of 3 staff that we spoke to were kind in speaking with us, the 3rd acted like me checking in to let them know we were out of the unit for the day was annoying to her. Breakfast filled the void but not much more, the woman servicing it seemed crabby...

"Parking was easy and safe. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel. The trolley that takes you to town was a plus! Enjoyed watching the ships that were on the river. "

"Everything was first rate, from the linens, to the bed, to the home itself, to the delicious breakfasts, to the game room in the basement, and especially the friendliness of Candy and Ken. You will not be dissapointed. They also own the "Salty Dog" fishing charter boat if that's on your agenda."
