"This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. By far the most disappointing hotel stay of our Ireland trip. Room was visibly worn and poorly maintained. Multiple visible stains on bedding, bed area and upholstered furniture (see photos). "We booked for one night, and were looking forward to using the spa facilities. When we arrived, we were told that they were shut for refurbishment. Apparently, this work has been going on for some time. I was told an email had been sent out. I did not receive any email. The hotel has a duty to let people know such things, so they have a choice of changing their plans. I noticed a lot of unhappy people that weekend. They are not afraid to charge top prices, and yet offer very little in return."

"Would have preferred stronger water pressure or a different showerhead, but overall, we had an excellent stay. We had awesome weather, but as a result, our room was very warm. It would have been great to have a fan in the room."

"Similar scenario as other hotels in Ireland. They are not family friendly. Swimming pools kick children out by 6 PM. Nightly rates are insanely expensive. I truly don’t understand the point of a Hotel swimming pools that don’t allow children to swim in the evening"

"Great hotel. Room was compact but well equipped with everything you need. Don’t expect big closets and lots of room for luggage etc. This hotel is right in center of Dublin so great to walk to all of the attractions. I only rate it 4* because of the fact that parking is 100m away in a public carpark, and lugging cases to and fro was a bit of pain."

It was great having a kitchenette, but 2 chairs should have been provided for 2 people, I know the kitchen table area is small, but some arrangement shoukd be made so to people can sit at a table and eat - even if it is folding chairs and a table added to the room. Also, more than 2 of everything (like forks, cups, plates, etc) should be in the cupboard. The rooms are probably set up for a single person to stay. I suggest when 2 people rent the room with the kitchenette...
