Excellent location in the middle of restaurants and bars. Excellent price and simple automatic check-in which worked well. Place was clean and in decent shape. Door handle for lavatory was loose and fell off. No hook for the shower head and somewhat loose toilet seat. This is all fair given the very reasonable price.

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Athens near Little Kook. Everything was just a few minutes’ walk away and very easy to get around. The place is small but functional, very clean, and has everything a family of five might need

Overall the stay was a great experience. Definitely cute vintage vibe. The only suggestion is for someone from the reception to walk guests to the hotel when not staying in the main hotel.

We really liked this place, with a few caveats: We were in Apt 2. Cute, vintage. Bed comfortable. Shower hot and strong (though only handheld). Everything is very clean. Balcony is small but wraps around the small apartment and has two different sides to it, each with small table and chairs. It is in an excellent, central location. Close walk (even with luggage) to multiple Metro lines, especially Monastriaki. Close walk to restaurants, Athens attractions like Ancient Agora, the Acropolis and the Aereopagus Hill, the Roman Forum. We walked everywhere except for the day we walked to a car rental place for a day trip outside Athens -- to Ancient Corinth and Cenchrae. Cleaning on alternating days, w towel changes. Caveats: *Noise: VERY close to the Little Kook pseudo-Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant, which is loud at times but at least closes at midnight. *Other street noises like flour sack delivery for the bakery across the street take place at night too...not a big problem for me, but my spouse is a very light sleeper. He still liked being there but slept poorly most nights. *Small repairs to door handles (we did ourselves) or squeaky hinges (hosts showed up very quickly) etc, may be needed. Internet stopped at one long point but they kept working on it until it got fully restored. Hosts and cleaner very responsive. *Kitchen only has hotplate as stove. Water kettle, fridge, cups, glasses. We fixed our own breakfast or sandwiches fine, but ate real meals out.

The entry is a bit dark and dreary. We were given the wrong room number and couldn’t access the room. We were able to reach someone on the emergency number and the problem was resolved. Accommodations were good, location was great!!

The pictures do not reflect reality. The furniture and mattresses are pretty used up. If someone walks or talks in the hallway, it practically sounds like their in your room. There is no form of noise insulation. Location is excellent! Walking distance from practically every sight seeing attraction. You can reach the staff by WhatsApp.

Misleading pictures and condition

Stay away from the misleading pictures of this property where it looks bright, new and spacious. In reality, the property is dark, gloomy, smell of an old, dilapidated place. You couldn’t even breathe in there. There was smell of cigarettes on top of the old place smell. The bedsheet had stains that looked like blood stains not washed.

Nice little flat

Really pleased to find it even nicer than I expected. Easy instructions for entry with a numeric code, newly painted stairwell, and nicely decorated and spacious flat. It has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The area is quite busy and a bit noisy on a Saturday night but it's also super convenient for visiting Athens. Everything perfect, but I hope it doesn't become so popular now that they put the price up!

Adorable but be advised of practical challenges

My room was adorable, spacious, super clean, and cheerful. The location was fabulous for walking to the Acropolis and running to the park. The hotel team was fast to respond by messaging using the Hotel.com chat or by WhatsApp. However, be advised that there is no front desk, all help is remote. And the baggage hold we were told was available (4 Euros per bag) was in a different location, several blocks away. Try wheeling your 23 kilo suitcase over cobblestone for blocks. We found a hostel on our block that held our luggage for us between checkout time and our flight. 6 Euros. There are also multiple flights of narrow, tiny stairs to get to the rooms. So getting those suitcases up and down was no picnic either. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a few days of sightseeing around the Acropolis. But pack lightly! And if you have any mobility issues, this is not the right choice for you.

The place we were staying at had construction across from us that started between 4-6 am. However the location had numerous locations to dine and shop. Entering our place we discovered that the clip that holds up the shower head was gone. I mentioned this to the staff through whatsapp but never received a reply back to repair it. In order to shower I had to use a shower curtain clip to hold the shower head in place on a bar over the tub to shower. I also noticed next to the toilet a hole in the floor filled with water that I assume was a water pipe. We covered that with the toilet bowl cleaner base and hoped the water wouldn't overflow into the bathroom during our stay. This place claims to sleep four but one of my sons slept on the springs of the sofa with no padding. I have mixed feelings about the staff because of not only not replying to the shower issue but they seemed hell bent on bugging me for a room tax of around 12 euros that they contacted me numerous times for. They actually wanted a time where I would be there so that I can pay them. The positive thing about the staff is they were able to find a car service for us at 6 am to take us to the airport which was important since there was a taxi cab strike. The place is old, and staying at an old place can be charming. However there is a difference between old and rundown. This place was more rundown than charming.
