My room was spotless, however, I had requested something handicap accessible and this was not. The shower stall needed the ability to step up into it and the way it was designed, chopped off 1/8th of the stall. The air-conditioning was not manageable. The only way suggested to turn it off was to open the window. Which I did but it's a residential area so, with dogs barking across the street, it wasn't quiet. But the staff was super nice and they got on the phone immediately with whomever was in charge (and mind you, it was late at night) and they were able, after many tries, to figure out how to close it from the room's controls. The pool smelled of something I can only describe as fish urine & the surrounding area wasn't designed well. It has a lawn and in the morning, after morning dew, you go to step on it and you sink into mud. Plus humidity attracts mosquitos so I became a meal. They don't remove the lounge pillow overnight so when I sat on one I wet my shorts so it literally looked like I "wet" myself. In addition there was bird poop on some. The lounge covers are also extremely stained. I just couldn't enjoy the pool area at all. I wasn't able to go into the pool since I was crutches but I at least wanted to sit by it. The position of the lounge umbrellas was also not taken into consideration when it was designed. They provide no shade.
