"You are not our guest, you are a guest of expedia. Call expedia." is what I was told when I complained that we had only 3 single beds for one person when I made a reservation for 4.
Whether the mistake was mine, expedia's or the hotels is irrelevant. I don't think that's a way to treat customers.
I showed reservation for 4 persons, which prompts the receptionist to show their order which says "triple room". I'm surprised ... but then I point a special request for a twin sofa bed.
At this moment the receptionist just says "No! this is not correct. Call expedia".
I ask him to take a picture of his document to discuss with expedia, he pulls the paper away and says "No! you can't take picture. You have the same document. Show me your document." I started laughing ... why do I need to show a copy of the document he just showed me ... this is my order!
So I have to call expedia on roaming (the hotel refused to call them themselves).
Expedia calls the hotel, and calls us back saying that the hotel basically refused to talk (the receptionist even declined to give his first name).
I did write to the manager, thinking that maybe it was the receptionist who was weird. But, basically, he just replied "ask expedia for a refund".
Pros: The hotel itself is modern (although surprisingly you can't flush your toilet paper) and clean.
Other cons: The AC light was annoying (like having a smart phone on), had to turn it off for the kids to sleep.
