Very thoughtful and well-designed space from layout, finishes and extra details. Aesthetically and proportionately, the space was great and very clean. Laundry machines were available for use. From outside the building and even in main corridor, you would not think how it could look inside. The inner lobby for Kin rooms was also thoughtfully designed, which helps prepare you for how nice your room is. Kitchenette had good amenities for simple cooking and eating in. Stratos was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. He always had good recommendations for nearby restaurants, and even things to do on the other islands we would be visiting, too. Location was convenient to main attractions like the acropolis and National garden, that we just walked everywhere.

Great extended stay option

This is a great space in what appears to be a dodgy area of Athens but is 1 block from Stadiou road and easy walking distance to many attractions. The room and space is lovely. So clean and well maintained. It probably works better as an extended stay location as there is not a traditional front desk or check in, but the manager Stratos, was very helpful in getting us all set up for one night. Very pleased. Also, word to the wise for Americans traveling in Europe, graffiti doesn’t always indicate the same thing it does in the US.

We arrived at this location that it was supposed to be a hotel in the end. It was an apartment hotel. When we arrive there, you have no air condition and when we spoke to the person in charge to tell him about it, he said it will take around two hours for everything to work out We went out to eat and do some shopping and when we came back, it was still very hot in the apartment, so when I contacted the person in charge and told him about it and told him that we cannot stay there and we are leaving, he tried to convince us to move to a different location, but I said I cannot be in a place that the air condition cannot be working I found another hotel and I asked to receive a refund for the time that I did not stay there and the person in charged denied any refund back whatsoever Worst Customer Service ever worst experience ever I will never recommend this place to anybody

Kin hotel was a perfect fit for us

We picked The Kin apartment hotel because it was close to the metro and tourists sights but not in the middle of it. Stratos, the manager, was amazing and took care of all our needs. He contacted us via email two days before arrival to get all of our travel details to insure they were ready for us. Our flight was late arriving and he left voicemails to check on our status. Stratos was waiting for us on arrival. The apartment was very clean, the little kitchen was perfect. We tea enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay there again. Lots of cafes nearby for food and just coffee. Nice little restaurant across the street. The food was really good. Coffee shop next to them was nice too. The metro station was just a short walk away and we used it everyday. We took the metro from the airport to the hotel and it was easy. We used Welcome Pickups for our transport to the cruise line. Konstantinos Akritidis was our driver and he is also a tour guide. I would definitely try to book him for transport and tours.

Great room and owner!!

Amazing room and the owner was delightful. We arrived on a day there was a taxi strike and the owner was able to have someone pick us up at the airport.

The property was fabulous. The area was a little dirty and grungy but the location was central to visiting the sites and we found some great little authentic restaurants.

Kin Athens was a pleasant place to stay with great customer service. The room was large and had all the supplies of an apartment (fridge, plates, stove, sink, microwave). Location was good. Customer service was top notch. Thanks a lot Stratos for everything!!!

Not good for women traveling alone

This is not a hotel. It is an apartment. This may be good for local people or business people who speak Greek. Not good for tourist or women traveling alone. The area is far from the attractions center. I didn’t feel safe to walk at night to get back to the hotel. There was a weird noise and I couldn’t sleep thinking that some one was braking into the apartment. The elevator door was broken and didn’t close. I had to get some one from the street to help me getting my luggage down. The manager was very kind and the apartment was beautiful and very clean. However, there is no one at the lobby.

Excellent place

Very cosy and comfortable apartment with a well quipped kitchen. Very well air-conditioned. Excellent communication with the manager. Good loction right in the city center. Stylish design. Highly recommendable aparthotel worth its price. We will be back!
