We recently stayed at Nur Apart Hotel in Athens, and here is my honest review based on our experience:
The hotel is located in a very central area, which is definitely one of its biggest advantages. However, parking can be an issue. The parking lot recommended by the hotel charged €40 per night and was quite far. Luckily, I found another parking spot just a 2-minute walk from the hotel for €23 per night.
The hotel itself is an old commercial building converted into a multi-story hotel with rooms on different floors. Entry to the building, elevator, and your room is all via code access, which felt secure, especially since we arrived late at night.
The room we stayed in was on the first floor and was clean, modern, and well-equipped. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. It had a smart TV where you could log into your own streaming accounts, a Nespresso machine, a small kettle, and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Towels were fresh and clean.
However, there were a few downsides. The sound insulation between rooms wasn’t great — when someone closed the door in the neighboring room, it startled us, especially during the night. Also, for the last two nights, we experienced a strong sewage smell in our room. I contacted the staff via WhatsApp around 1:30 AM, and they kindly offered to move us to the 6th floor, but I declined since my wife was already asleep.
