Unfortunately, the service at this accommodation was a complete disaster. There is no staff on-site – all communication happens online only. What we found especially concerning was that we were forced to pay the tourist tax (€0.50 per day/room) through a payment link sent via WhatsApp. Paying in person was not an option, even though such payment methods are often warned against. At the same time, we were not given the room access codes until the tourist fee was paid via link – for a fee that is negligible compared to the overall booking cost. This felt unnecessarily complicated and questionable.
In general, communication is poor and far from customer-oriented. There is essentially no service: room service is not included and costs €20 per request, which is unreasonable given the price of the accommodation. The shuttle service is also impractical, as it must be booked 58 hours in advance – it’s much easier and costs the same to arrange a taxi independently. In the night it is loud through nearby bars and in the early morning it is loud from construction work. The nights were not really restful.
On the positive side, the rooms are nicely designed and were clean upon arrival. However, the neighborhood is somewhat run-down and about a 15–20 minute walk from the main areas around the Acropolis.
Overall, while the rooms are nice, the lack of service and poor communication outweigh any positives. We would not recommend staying here.
