Chambre avec jacuzzi, c'est un confort après une journée à Athènes. L'isolation de la chambre est moyenne car on entend beaucoup le bruit de la circulation de l'avenue à côté.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very close to most of the attractions, easily walkable. Reception was on point and very helpful! Sauna and jacuzzi/gym in the basement which is really cool. Fridge in the room. Very central location. Breakfast was included and had a nice variety of foods. Overall a great deal with this Hotel.

Everything would be perfect in this nicely renovated hotel well situated near the center, but the windows are not sound proof and the traffic noise is HORRIBLE 24hrs. Of course we won't recommend this hotel. CB

The hotel was great, it provided a good continental breakfast selection. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the metro and other sights like the Acropolis and Panathenaic stadium. There are loads of restaurants nearby, from touristy to local. We got a room with a hot tub which was as described with a private balcony with plants helping to keep it secluded. There is some road noise but it wasn't too bad, but it is in the centre of Athens so you will always get some noise. They do provide ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I thought the mini bar was a reasonable price.

Friendly staff, clean, lovely. Absolutely delicious breakfast. Wish I knew the man’s name setting it out in the morning - very kind and attentive. The penthouse was exceptional. Private rooftop with a jacuzzi and a perfect view of the Parthenon and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. 10/10 would return.

Great room with hot tub, kitchenette & near center
The location is very convenient and 3 minutes away from the Acropoli metro station. Closed to all the main center shops and Plaka area. Syntagma is 15 minutes walk up hill but not bad or Acropoli metro one stop. The hotel seems near and very clean. The staff is awesome. The breakfast is great ! The room, kitchenette and the hot tub is superb !

The Newel Hotel Acropolis was very nice and comfortable. Well designed and appointed. The room showers are designed a bit awkwardly as the showe stall is open with no door causing water to splash around bathroom area. Otherwise great! The staff was friendly and helpful. Elevator was tiny (2peraon max) and unreliable. Walkability was good in the area. Front staff was very nice except for Thomas. He was quite useless and dismissive of our requests. Demetrius was wonderful and very accommodating with breakfast service and helping with our luggage when the elevator broke down. Yes we would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Loved every minute!
Gorgeous location with beautiful views! Check in and check out processes was seamless and easy. Staff were all very polite and respectful. Would stay here again! Parking lot was across the street and I was always able to get a parking spot. While there are stairs in and out of the room, staff was able to assist me with my luggage.

The room was spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. There were several nice eating venues nearby and convenient walking to Temple of Zeus, acropolis and acropolis museum. The area around the hotel and neighborhood was a little dirty.

I really liked how it was close to both the Stadium(8min walk) and acropolis (under 20min walk) Also within walking distance of shopping. The property was clean and quite we had a jacuzzi room and it was lovely.

The staff was professionnal and nice but the NOISE at night was awful, the windows didn't have any double glazing, we heard everything, the cars, motorcycles like they where in the room, sleeping was very very hard... But overall the room was okay and the area near the center very convenient.

The staff were very helpful and supportive, providing extra utensils for the kitchen and helping us plan our activities. The property is about a Kilometer from where you’d want to be located as it’s a bit of a walk to get to nice cafes or the Acropolis. It misleading having the picture of the hot tub when this is only available with one of the more expensive apartments. The only main issue with the place itself was the poor Wi-Fi signal.

The hotel was in a very good location for those wanting to explore Athens. Great walking distance from many awesome places and a short taxi ride to the beach. The hotel was able to address my one concern and find a resolution as well as the manager took the time to speak to me to even improve kn the process more. It was better customer service than you getin most places in the U.S. they also gave great recommendations for food!!

This was my second stay at the Hydria. I very much enjoyed the property the first time, hence the second booking. This stay there were issues with people smoking in the rooms despite being a non-smoking hotel. Upon checking in, there were two gentlemen getting out of the elevator with a lit cigarette. I am pretty sure these guests were staying on my floor as the smell was wafting into my room. I spoke to the front desk on two different occasions and nothing was done to rectify the situation, not even a room change. It was so bad that I had to turn the fans on, open the windows and jam towels under the door to try and dampen the smell. It is really hard to sleep with an open window and the crazy sounds of Greek traffic.

We hadden een appartement voor ons zelf waar om de dag schoongemaakt werd en schone handdoeken. Minder was het lakentje wat erop lag erg dun en te klein om onder te liggen. Zou een kingseize bed zijn maar was een normale grote.. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Walking distance to all the big Athens sites…the Acropolis/Parthenon, Monastiraki, the Agora, the National Garden, Temple of Olympian Zeus, etc. Convenient, clean, with friendly helpful staff. I would stay here again!
