It is downstairs from a grocery store, down the street from anything and everything. The transit system is amazing; pickup and drop off locations are very close. Clean and spacious property, newly remodeled.

Convenient location. Modern style apartments. Grocery store just next door, bunch of coffee shops with great selections of morning coffees. Great bakery in the same block. Perfect for your breakfast. If you looking for classy diner, nothing in close proximity. Take a taxi to get there. Around $10 will take to nice places.

Positive: agency was quick with responses to questions and the suite was very clean. Negative: sparsely furnished. I’ve seen prison cells with more character. There was toilet paper and dishwashing liquid. Hand soap in the shower. That's it. All our complaints were mentioned before in reviews, the response is always the same: you should have mentioned it during your stay. As almost all reviews state this there’s no use in mentioning it to them as they don't care and are not changing anything. Hard beds, sofa rock hard and stained. Only two pillows on the bed. 1 fork, two knifes, no pots and pans. The elevator is a safety hazard. It’s the slowest elevator ever, no a/c and most of the day it’s fully in the sun as it’s outside of the building. It gets HOT in the thing... We had a saftely issue with people coming onto our floor (tiny corridor with just 2 apartments) and these two guys who didn’t belong there spent a good 10 minutes there. I reported it and it was swept under the rug. We didn’t feel safe after and left 2 nights before our rental period was over. We asked for a refund for one night and the said no.

Very Dirty apartment , neglected place overall

Very dirty apartment , leaking under the sink had created mold in the kitchen cabinets was gross. The oven was disgusting. In the balcony there was cockroaches and a box of condoms. In the bathroom was dirty too. Overall DIRTY… this place has been neglected for years no maintaince or cleaning whatsoever….

If you are wanting to go to the typical tourist areas, don't stay here. We were visiting friends so we chose this location. However, we really liked the apartment and there were a lof od restaurants nearby to choose from and a supermarket next door. Communication was solid.

We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom apartment for 8 nights. There was nothing deluxe about it. The first thing you saw across from the entrance was a wall splattered with oil stains from the stove top. The “2nd bedroom” had no door, but 2 curtains for privacy, there was no cupboard or anything to store clothes in - just a huge empty room with only a bed and two small bedside tables. The bathroom was without a shower curtain, the “hand soap” had been refilled with something different and had not even been cleaned and the tap was completely loose. The “city view” promised with the room was of the backyard and the neighbors balconies. The kitchen lacked teaspoons, pans for the oven and only had a tiny fry pan, huge pot and colander to cook with. As a result I could hardly use the kitchen facilities. I contacted Athens Suites via messenger advising of my issues. They sent someone to “fix” the bathroom tap and someone else to change the bathroom soap. He advised me that they would source a shower curtain and everything that was missing from the kitchen. That NEVER happened. As for the lacking “city views”, the lady on messenger told me that she could not find where such a view was promised. I sent her two snapshots of such and she never replied. The location was good, with a great cafe and supermarket below. Close to bus stops and taxis. But it was overall a very disappointing stay.

We enjoyed the location and local food. The Thisean Modern Suites staff was very responsive and helpful. The view from the terrace was lovely. Some downsides: the bathroom had an ant problem and the hot tub takes a while to heat up. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
