Top Athlone Hotel Reviews
Hodson Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great place to stay. We visited the pool, hot tub and sauna. It was very relaxing! The grounds were nice and amenities were amazing. Wish we would have been able to stay longer."
County Arms Birr
8/10 Good
"Very nice rooms but quite a bit away from reception. The design of the reception is a bit odd also - it's immediately obvious where to find the bar/restaurant. It could do with some more prominent signage. But a very nice, clean hotel."
Kinnitty Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Simply fantastic. The staff and accomodations were excellent, and we so appreciated receiving a very kind complimentary room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. The history of the castle and surrounding land is fascinating and steeped in lore, and we enjoyed learning more about this this very special part of the heart of Ireland."
Shamrock Lodge Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel."
Abbey Hotel Roscommon
8/10 Good
"Clean rooms, perfect for our one night stay. Bed a bit hard. Breakfast great. Staff helpful."
Shearwater Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and cleaned each day. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The bar was modern and staff were pleasant, the food was excellent. We stayed in August and thought as the hotel was busy there would be some nightly entertainment but there wasn't. The pool and it's facilities I couldn't fault. We will definitely return."
Port Heron Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property for relaxing in. Warm, clean and gorgeous views. Well equipped with all we needed for our stay. "
