"room 'rustic' style. clean. single room w one queen bed was on the small side, adequate for overnight stay for two. very economical esp. compared with local options. shower hot/cold adjustment slower than normal. heat in bathroom fine. unit in main room kept turning on and off and quite loud. we would stay again. would be interested to see how restaurant turns out. only snacks available now."

"My mom and I stayed here for two nights while we were in the area for the Brimfield Flea Market, and we had a wonderful experience. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable, and Heather is a great host. Both breakfasts were very nice. This is a great little bnb where we felt welcome and relaxed. We will definitely return the next time we go to the flea market!"

"The breakfast buffet was very good with great variety. I also liked pots of hot coffee in the lobby available all day. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. Perhaps it was because my room could be an adjoining room, but we could hear everything next door. Our neighbor called to complain about our tv volume, so I guess they could hear everything also."

"Parking pass/instructions weren’t clear and I got a ticket. Brought it up to staff and didn’t get much of a response but we weren’t the only guests who were confused and got tickets. Other than that it was perfect"

"Terry is a wonderful host and she prepares delicious breakfasts. The home is charming and it sits on a lake with a view of Mount Monadanock. There is a fridge stocked with soft drinks, wine and beer (complimentary). There is a TV room. Terry prepares a nice mid-afternoon snack. We think it is the best B & B."

"I had an accessible room which was the best I had had anywhere. It was large and had plenty of space to maneuver around with my rollator even to the toilet ! It had a low tub with bars on the wall and a seat. The only thing missing, and I pointed it out, was a bar to hold onto to step into the tub. With this bar in place I will always go back to my favorite room at the Courtyard for Marriott in Hadley to enjoy the Amherst Symphony Orchestra performances."
