This was by far the worst Expedia stay I have had and will ever have because I won't be booking hotels through here anymore. To start off, the property is in a terrible neighborhood. The outside was fairly rundown. I was given the passcode to the front door and to my room, which were the same passcode number which I found a little bit odd. When I got there on the first night, the door to my room was open and it looked like someone had just been sitting on the bed. There was also a half a cup of coffee and a cup of water on the nightstand. I wasn't sure if it hadn't finished being cleaned. The next morning there was a large dead cockroach on the floor in the kitchen. I thought the place was a little bit dirty, but I didn't realize that there was cockroaches. The worst part of all is the morning of when I was going to leave, at 8:30am, somebody opened the door to my room using the passcode, not realizing that I was in there sleeping. They must've seen my shoes on the floor and then closed the door. This was completely unacceptable and very startling as I realized I wasn't safe. If someone had wanted to come into the room and do me harm, they could have. I brought the safety concern up to Expedia and requested a refund and they wouldn't help me. The property was completely unresponsive. I couldn't get a hold of them and Expedia couldn't get them to refund me so I had to pay for a place that was not only dirty, but not safe. Women especially beware of staying here.
