2/10 Sangat Buruk

I absolutely hated my stay at this hotel.
First, the location is a nightmare. The hotel sits inside a park that charges a $5 entry fee. That means rideshare drivers (Uber/Lyft) will not pick you up or deliver food because they would have to pay to enter. It’s not as simple as handing them $5—the park makes them pay at the gate, and in my case, they even threatened to call the cops on my Uber driver who was just trying to take me back to the airport. On top of that, the gates close at midnight, so you’re literally trapped inside after a certain time.
The hotel itself is in terrible condition. Elevators are outdated with buttons falling off the walls, the pool was disgusting, and the bartender didn’t even know how to make basic drinks. The staff was hit or miss—some were nice, but others were extremely rude. The on-site restaurants were bland and tasteless.
The only positive was that my room itself was nice. However, the balcony was dirty and clearly not maintained, which took away from the experience.
This place is more of a headache than a getaway. Between being stranded without rideshare, the run-down facilities, and the terrible dining options, I would never recommend Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort to anyone.
