"The staff was very friendly and the lobby is beautiful for a great first impression. However, the handle on our sliding bathroom door was broken and when we used the shower, water seeped out from under the shower door, leaving a rather large puddle on the floor. Maintenance did come up and tighten the bathroom door handle and replaced the strip below the shower door. However, it did not prevent the water from coming out.
The bath towels were large, but a bit rough on the skin and the mattress on one of the queen beds was not very firm, and we were rolling towards the center.
When I called ahead, we were told that guests usually watch the fireworks from the pool deck. However, even on the Fourth of July, they closed the pool at 10 just as the fireworks were getting ready to begin and we were told we had to leave, which was very disappointing.
There are several restaurant choices within walking distance, which were all very good. But it’s a very busy area and you can hear a lot of noise from the traffic, so if you’re looking for a very quiet stay, it’s probably not the place for you."
