Walking distance from sky city, where the bus directly runs from and to the airport stops and departs. It seemed that the shower booth was not cleaned everyday unfortunately.

Clean, quiet and lots of space for our family. Right in downtown Auckland close to shopping and sightseeing. Liked having laundry in the room and the buffet breakfast was good.

Staff friendly enough, but bar and restaurant closed (Monday). Lots of traffic noise at night and only stairs to the room (no elevator)!

My only issue was trying to get into the car park during rush-hour traffic not knowing the city very well :-). The staff were great… A giant coach size group came in and they didn’t bat an eyelid and every one was taken care of and happy.

Bien pour un court séjour
Bien situé au centre d’Auckland. Chambre avec kitchenette bien équipée pour manger sur le pouce. Parking avec peu de places mais bien pratique. Petit bémol: la chambre quoique propre sentait un peu le vieillot et le renfermé.

The location was perfect - easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. It’s an older hotel but the rooms were nice and had all of the amenities we needed.

I was on 1 st floor and no elevator or escalator were available. I got a help upon checking in so it was good but not very convenient. Room was nicely renovated and clean.

Cancelled reservation made on Expedia same week I made reservation, which was 2 months prior to arrival date Needed a handicapped room instead. Hotel charged me for one nights stay anyway & refused to refund money. Talk about double dipping as I’m sure they easily rented the room with 2 months notice.

Nice place
Great location, 15-20 minute walk to the quays, Auckland Bus Terminal is a 5 minute downhill walk, nearby Asian restaurants / takeaway at good prices. Breakfast and coffee options nearby. Tidy / clean room, comfy bed, good strong endless hot water shower. Fridge (with mini freezer), 2 electric hot plates and a basic equipped kitchen. Microwave and kettle with basic tea / coffee facilities. Room has hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast buffet optional at the hotel (30NZD - November 2023). Hot meals and drinks available, although it was very quiet when we were there (not a soul dining). 20 minute drive from the airport ( $55-75 taxi cab ride). Note the hotel will ask for a 100NZD deposit which is refunded when you leave. This can be made as cash or card. As per a lot of places in New Zealand, the fee to use a credit card or foreign debit card was 2.2% Be aware, checkout is 10am!

The hotel was central and the room was clean and tidy but was in need of a new couch. The bed was comfortable. There was absolutely no information about the hotel or surrounding attractions in the room and no face cloths were supplied. Also the plates and cutlery were disposable - definitely not a fan of this!!

The room was ok, we slept well but woke up in the middle of the night by the sound of a man screaming, off property. (I hope he is ok!) Not much in the way of grocery shopping in the area for healthy food. For accessibility, they had a ramp down to the street and the elevator got us to our room. Staff was polite and helpful.

A great night away.
Recommend staying here, handy to city centre, great staff and would absolutely recommend their breakfast buffet! Delicious.
