"Had a lovely stay here. Room was sufficient, bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. It's in a great location. 15 mins from train station. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was a cold buffet, cereals, toast, yogurt, pasties anc coffees, teas, orange juice. Great, would stay here again."

"What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine."

"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "

"After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. "

"We were in room 12 which was lovely and warm as always, love the shower in the Bathroom power shower ample hot water, and nice comfy bed, this wasn't our first stay there as, we love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful, great views especially from the resturant with it's picture windows looking out onto the North Sea. Looking foward to our stay later in the year again, might opt for one of the sea view rooms which are slightly bigger in size. A cooked breakfast is included or...

"Tired looking rooms "

"Great parking, internet was not working properly during our visit, and not all the 'on tap beers" were available at the time we were ordering. I wouldn't let this put you off though, as I have visited several times over the years, and it is a classy out of town place to spend a relaxing overnight, or weekend stay. The Atholl in Kings Gate Aberdeen, would be an excellent 'in-town' alternative with excellent food/bar at more affordable prices though."

"100% the best breakfast of our trip so far. We were informed that there was a wedding party and could experience noise-- but we barely heard a peep. The staff is so kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay."

"The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes "
