The original room we entered had 3 giant cockroaches (biggest I’ve seen) dead on the ground (one of them was still twitching). The room had an unpleasant odor and the fridge had a loud rattling noise. Perhaps aparthotels can get like this, what with guests staying for long periods of time, and the hot Austin climate in October. There were always kind staff at the lobby, who relocated us to a different room that was thankfully much better. They informed us roaches may have come in due to nearby construction, which is ongoing. We appreciated the convenient location of the hotel.

Great place

Place was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Location was convenient to restaurants and nightlife. Will definitely stay there again!

It was an okay stay for location, theres alot of construction outside of property.Water in the unit had a smell when showering and there were bugs i side unit. When checking in there was only 1 person working counter and a long line, there was also a random person that walked into unit around 4pm, im assuming that worked there but didnt provide any service for cleaning or needs and just ran away. Rooms were cold and clean, location was great, but lacked hospitality. Overall was an ok stay.

Great place and great location.

I had a great stay at Placemakr in downtown Austin. The apartment building is conveniently located next to I-35 so easy in and out to the city, but was also walkable to restaurants and bars. The property is clean and has some really cool shared spaces. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
