"I am writing to formally express our dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and overall condition of the room assigned to one of our employees during her stay at your hotel.
Upon arrival, the room had an unpleasant odor and appeared to be dirty and poorly maintained. These conditions were unacceptable and fell below the basic standards of cleanliness and hygiene that guests should expect from a hotel.
We believe that every guest deserves a clean, fresh, and comfortable environment....

"The rooms were clean. Property is a bit dated, scratched walls, weird scratches on mirrors, beds are a bit uncomfortable, flat pillows. Staff was friendly upon arrival. Ice machines did not work and there aren’t any vending machines for water when you’re thirsty in the middle of the night."

"What a beautiful place the Fairmont Austin is. We had two separate reservations due to one being a family event, and one for a birthday. They were able to accommodate it and make sure that the room did not need to be moved. Also they surprised us with a cake and drinks to celebrate the birthday. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Austin."
