Inn at Avila Beach

"Overall this is a very "cool", convenient and "whimsical" inn to stay. Its right across the street from the beach and walking dustance to all the restaurants and shops on the boardwalk. The rooms have a "rustic" look with lots of wood and a fireplace. They provide a nice breakfast every morning, coffee throughout the day, and pie and ice cream in the evening. My only problem is that being slightly disabled with a walking issue, this inn is not made for people with a mobility handicap as there are no elevators, steep stairs, and lots of "rises" on the walk-ways which made it very difficult for me getting to and from my room (on the 2nd floor). I managed but it was slow going and tough. However, I still enjoyed my stay here and recommend it as long as you're aware of the lack of handicap accessibility."

"This was our first time visiting Avila Beach and I'm so glad I chose Avila La Fonda. The location was perfect. The room was comfy. The treats in the room, the food served at various times, and of course the amazing pie, really added to our experience! The pantry was an awesome feature too! Avila Beach was the perfect location for exploring different areas of the central coast during our trip since we headed both north to Morro Bay and South to Pismo to explore those areas in addition to enjoying the quaint town of Avila Beach. The hotel decor and atmosphere was perfect and the staff were incredibly nice."
