"The hotel location next to the Cathedral is really convenient and the historic architecture inside is stunning. The housekeeping staff are lovely. The breakfast buffet is generous. For travelers arriving at odd hours, it would be good for them to stock the mini bar with some snacks in addition to the bottles of water. Great value for money."

"This a fabulous luxury hotel made from President Suarez personal residence. It is built into the walls of Avila and has the only pool inside the city walls. The pool and area is stunningly beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast included. Calena restaurant is working towards a star. Room was comfortable and clean, suite included a walk in shower and separate claw foot bath tub. Only regret was 2nd floor rooms ceiling sloped in from the roof line, took some getting used to.
