"The apartment was run down, dirty and full of mould. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mould, and the shower looked like it had never been cleaned once in its life. The bed was uncomfortable with no mattress protector and one sheet. The cups in the kitchen smelt like off milk. The wifi stopped working in day two, and as we were checking out, the roof above the entryway started leaking water all over the ground. We tried to reach out to the hotel prior to arrival and received no response....

"Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed."

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."
