"The hotel is beautiful - sleek and chic! Great location and stellar staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant is my favorite place in Charlottesville. (The gluten-free pizza is FANTASTIC!). The rooms are nice, but there was mildew on the shower walls the last 2 times we stayed there. The gym has some broken equipment, but that won't stop us from coming back! The best value in the area. "

"The staff is very nice and helpful. The check in and out process was fast. The room was clean and roomy. The bathroom and shower is big. We didnt get a chance to have the continental breakfast. The parking was plentiful. And also pet friendly. I would definitely book this hotel again for my next stay in Charlottesville."

"Property is fine if you're looking for a cheap place to crash when in town for a show. Bring an air freshener as the bleach smell in the room is strong. Could be worse at least it's clean. "

"Staff were pleasant and helpful. I selected this hotel because it advertised a restaurant onsite. It does not. Breakfast is self-service like most restaurants, but there is NOT a restaurant. There is what looks like a bar with hours posted, but it wasn't open once. I even confirmed with hotel staff. There is no restaurant on site."

The hotel was very clean and the young lady that checked us in was extremely helpful and had very good recommendations; as this was my first time visiting Charlottesville. "The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, but twice we found long black hair that wasn’t ours on a pillow and the comforter. Our towels had rips in them. One of the bedside lamps had a burned out bulb, and when I went down to the desk to ask for a replacement, there was no one there for a long period of time. I eventually gave up. The alarm on the old-fashioned clock radio in the room surprised us by going off super early in the morning. The lobby and hallways had a weird disinfectant...

"Positives--free parking, excellent breakfast, very clean, microwave, refrigerator Negatives--no restaurant as advertised--just chips & candy for sale. The reason we chose this hotel was because it had an onsite restaurant. We had to crawl on the floor to get the refrigerator turned on. There was no soap in the bathroom, but a soap dish--the housekeeper didn't have any--we had to go to the front desk for a simple bar of soap???? Fire alarm in the middle of the night left us outside for over...
