Spa was ridiculously nice and included (save massages)! Underground parking included too if you are touring, which we were. "We loved our stay in the small chalet apartment at Hotel Baren! We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road… and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"
"This hotel is outside the city of Lucerne but only 20 minutes away. It is nice and peaceful, which was our preference. The Mt. Pilatus train station in Alpnachstadt is just a few minutes away. We got to enjoy both sunset and sunrise from our balcony.
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was clean and uniquely charming but with modern conveniences. The restaurant served excellent local favorite dishes.
We look forward to another stay in the coming years.
