Every detail was carefully catered to.

A high end hotel with space to spread out in the public areas but also many good size rooms with balconies if you want privacy. You sometimes need to search out staff with questions or to get help but once you do then nothing is too much trouble. Location is excellent next to the Matterhorn Express and 5-10 minutes walk to the Sunnega Funicular (or you can catch the free shuttle bus if you have a lift pass). We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday. The staff, hotel and restaurant were first class and went out of their way to make our experience special. We took a taxi to Zermaat from a nearby town and the hotel sent a horse and carriage to collect us. The location of the hotel was fantastic for the wonderful town and for views of the Matterhorn from our room. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! The shuttle service from the train station was so helpful when we arrived (messaged beforehand). We also loved the breakfast and sauna.

Great stay at the hotel Al Piolet, loved the furnishings and staff makes sure you had a great holiday. Rooms are not the biggest but nicely decorated and comfortable for 2 people stay.

We really enjoined our stay at this property. The personnel is very nice, rooms very clean and conformable and breakfast is great. Just 7 minutes walk to Matterhorn-Express, the hotel is very central but quiet at the same time.

This hotel was everything I dreamed. The rooms were stunning, beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony on the second floor. Breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant were both lovely, with a wide choice for breakfast options. We enjoyed some time in the indoor pool and spa. I can't think of a single fault-everything was great, really.I liked the structure of the room,where you go a few steps down to the bathroom.Breakfast was delicious and plentiful,with local produce.You have good choice of fruit/herbal teas and coffee in the room,bottles of water provided in the fridge too.
