We had a family room it was very spacious and very clean .bar staff were lovely also the breakfast had a great choice and it was lovely and hot . The pool area was nice only downfall was that the jacuzzi wasn't working apparently not been working for a while .would definitely go back but think in the summer time when we could do slot more out activities with grand kids .

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really clean with a corner bath and large walk in shower. We had a large sitting room also. There was a cute little courtyard outside with a couple of tables and chairs. The staff were friendly and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Location & view of Arran from our large room were stunning. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Served quickly. Even although they were very busy, ‘Service with a Smile’ was appreciated. Room was a little ‘worn’, with water damage in the bathroom. Warm with heating efficient. In the pool the jacuzzi wasn’t working, but also had a sauna and steam room.

Overall a good experience, good location for both dining out and closeness to the beach. The main issue I faced was a staff member entering my room in the early morning hour with their key without knocking. Though the reception staff apologised for that but I could not expect that unprofessional behaviour from a staff member.

Check in was quick and easy by very professional staff. Room was nice, clean and well appointed, but nothing outstanding about it. Breakfast was very nice and quite substantial, if not a bit expensive at £15 per person.

We have stayed at the Fairfield on several occasions as we like it down the coast but felt this time that the hotel was in a bad state of repair. Very tired and it great need of renovations

The hotel decor is tired and there was a lack of info in our room ie how to use tv stations. The pool area lacked signs to know where to get towels, what was the procedure for using the pool, sauna etc., we had to ask. Staff were very helpful and pleasant It would have been useful to have local info provided in our room. Having said all this, we would go back. The food was excellent and catered for my gluten free needs.
