"Starland looks and probably is a remodeled Condo/AirBnb type development, so it has all the usual pluses and minuses that come with it. In other words, expect more of a rental unit type situation than either a hotel or motel. That being said, the remodeling was nicely done, the facilities are clean and secure, the beds are comfortable and best of all it is within a stone's throw of the Sylvia Park Mall. "The positives: The staff are so nice. The location is beautiful, the views are incredible. However, the rooms need a big update. There is an odor that permeates the room. When the doors are open, it’s not bad but at night on the first floor you cannot leave the doors open cause someone could just walk into your room from the outside while you’re sleeping. "Never saw any staff, only talked by phone which was weird as it was during business hours. Parking was easy. The room was ok but not super clean, although the beds were comfortable. But the price was right for being not too far from the airport."
