"The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. "Quiet room though we were on the ground floor and had no view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were fine; the best onion bhajis of my life so they are THOROUGHLY recommended. We went in the sauna and the outdoor hot tub- that was amazing. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely return."

"Staff were very friendly and location was close to Chester, only 8 minutes into the town centre. Unfortunately the hotel could do with a big refurbishment. Floor boards were creaky everywhere and especially bad in our bedroom. The changing rooms for the pool smelt. The pool itself is ok although the water wasn't very clear. I was also annoyed that I had booked 2 rooms as there 3 adults in our group, only to find in our room a double bed and then a separate bedroom with a further 2 single beds!"

"When I turned on to the drive I was struck by the stunning tudor style building and grounds. I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff when I checked in, and clear directions on how to get to my room. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The decor was a little dated, but you could argue inkeeping for the period of the property. The grounds are stunning."

"Stayed 1st - 3rd of June. Absolutely amazing stay for our mini moon. The staff, the food, the room were all incredible. We can't wait to come back, so much so we have already pre booked a suite for our one year anniversary May 2027. Very relaxing stay just what we needed after a manic wedding weekend.
