"This is an excellent hotel for visiting Rothenburg. Its location is a minute walk from the Market Square. At check-in, we were greeted by Genghis, who was fantastic and warmly greeted us with a welcome drink and provided helpful information about visiting the town. Breakfast was delicious with many options (we are vegetarian). The hotel is a historic building, in keeping with the charm of Rothenburg. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good shower. "I chose the hotel for its central location, but the room was spectacular. It was super clean and classy. The sheets looked ironed. We had large windows with a view of the terrace and countryside. The only negative for me was that it was right next door to Kathe Wolfahrt’s Christmas Shop and my wife took full advantage. In the evening we had drinks and dessert at the hotel. It is a wonderful place to stay."

Our room did not appear to have a working smoke alarm. There was parking onsite behind the hotel but it was badly in need of repair."
