"The staff were charming and wanted to be helpful. However, the facility itself was stressed to the max. Our room was not available upon arrival, we didn't have hot water for morning showers and the pool was cloudy. The breakfast and happy hour service and offerings saved the stay. It was a perfect place for student travel -- however, not at all what we were looking for. Because we booked thru Expedia, they couldn't comp our room the first night and could only offer a future nights stay...

"The hotel is nice due to central located. However, beyond the hotel control, the neighboring buildings are abandoned and full of graffiti, so no real view of anything from the balcony. The room size was great, didn’t utilize the bar/restaurant. The downfall was the cleanliness in the bathroom and lack of water pressure in the shower. Not sure what the rules are on using bleach to clean, but the shower stall def needs it. Not sure if it was a water pressure issue or actual shower head...

"The first room we checked into had dirty clothes between the mattress and box spring (was checking for bed bug) and tons of hair in the bed. Second room didn't have the dirty clothes, but definitely would not classify it as clean. The elevators are a nightmare. Have to wait for a long time. Won't go back."

"Under staff at the front desk. Only 1 person checking people in and there was a line waiting to check in. Property details online listed coffee in the common area, not the case. No ice machines on the floors, had to go to the bar to get ice. Also, details said $38 a day for self-parking and was charged $78 a day. Online details had too many discrepancies."

"I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Check-in time was 4. On a Wednesday, we didn’t get our room until 4:30. I don’t think this unusual though, since on our 2nd day at the hotel, the lobby was full of check in guests at 4:15, waiting for their rooms. The hotel is very large and has 7 floors, with many rooms on each floor. They have a tiny front desk and 2 elevators. I was also told the stairs were only for emergencies, and I had to wait for an elevator. This was right after a Cardinals game,...
