Deluxe rooms are the best, great ocean view, needs a refrigerator though at the very least for the room price. Traditional hut not recommended, Ifugoa w/ AC is practical. Staff were pleasant. Overall it was an OK stay.
The resort landscape is amazing. The service from maintenance and the receptionist are excellent but the cafeteria ladies are not quite hospitable (they should learn how to SMILE). The hotel must do something with the mosquitoes. The housekeepers should clean the rooms well, dust the furnitures, sweep the floor under the bed and must replace the linens with new ones.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We appreciate the style and the interior of the Ifuagao Nipa Hut. However, they should add more locks to the door because it can easily be opened. They are also pet-friendly. My doggo enjoyed listening to the live band while eating potato wedges. Haha! Nalu is such a cozy place. It is highly recommended! :)
This is my family's favorite in Baler. So far of the 2 weeks we've been to Baler, we have spent each separate week in this place. It was great that the pool was just opened with our recent stay, it was a very good addition to the already great place.
The staff were friendly and check in processes were easy. The place was very nice and clean and we are happy with our stay.
Please just improve on having wifi for the guests.
Overall, it was a very good place to stay in baler. I think even one of the best place to stay in!
The villas are wonderful and we really enjoyed the event held at night (music + grill night). There were some things I hope they could improve on:
1) Check-in. They should be able to check if we are full paid or not.
2) Extra Key Card. There was only 1 key card provided for the villa and we are a group. If somebody is sleeping, we cannot take the card as it is used to turn on the electricity. If we need to go inside, they need to wake up as we don't have an extra key.
3) Wifi. No wifi
They have a swimming pool so if you don't want to crash the waves, you can opt to just chill there. They also have a restaurant and it is affordable.
The staff is topnotch! Always helpful, friendly, and never ever snooty. The surf school is wonderful too - the instructors are fun, knowledgable, and nice. Food is good too. The place + ambiance + accommodations are clean, and worth every penny. Appreciated the location too.

The room was not ready when we arrived. The staff were not friendly. We were transferred 3 times to a very convenient room.
Nice pictures until you get to the hotel and realize that you have booked a Sheed in the backyard and not the nice houses on the beach as on the pictures. I got really upset with this stupid hotel

Awful service for an expensive place
Room initially given to us was not yet ready. Bed was dirty, room smells awful, ants in several areas of the room, no toiletries, intermittent hot water, no wifi inside the room and even in the restaurant area.

PRIVACY AND THE LOCATION...................................
Location was perfect, right on the beach with restaurants and bars within walking distance. The surf rental was convenient, and the instructors were great. The room was comfortable, but we were disappointed there was no housekeeping like the website advertised there would be.
We enjoyed our stay in Nalu Surf Camp. The staff are all friendly and very approachable. The place is nice as well and exceeded our expectations. I think the only negative comment was that the space under the bed is not cleaned and we saw cockroach on our 2nd night.

The ifugao room has a low ceiling that makes it uncomfortable and having a CR outside our room is as well not ideal for us
