"Pros: A true Isle of Skye experience… right on the water, beautiful view, lots of sheep around. It felt safe, secluded and was very quiet. The staff were so kind. Cons: It’s a very basic accommodation and the buildings/rooms show wear and tear, The drive in is 2 miles of one lane with not many passing areas."

"The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration. Nice staff and good clean rooms. My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. "I really looked forward to staying at this unique location, but after two nights felt the “luxury” accommodations were quite overpriced. First, beware when booking that the individual cabins (hides) are located up gravel paths from the main reception, bar, and dining room. Ours was at one of the furthest points, a quarter mile from the parking up a very steep hill. A staff member will deliver your bags by golf cart, but cannot transport guests.
