"We didn’t realise at the time of booking that the hotels main use is for pilgrims visiting the Knock Shrine.
As such, the facilities were limited and whilst fairly new, were dated.
Similarly the restaurant food was limited to say the least, it was more like that provided at a care home rather than a 3/4 star hotel.
The grounds were well maintained but the furniture had been left to the elements and was in need of a serous overhaul.
The rooms were clean and tidy, but would have benefitted from...

"Hi, Cong is a lovely village to visit. All the staff I met at Ryan’s hotel were helpful and friendly.
Plenty of parking behind the hotel.
I really liked how in my room they had managed to keep some of the original stonework in the bathroom and bedroom.
The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep."

Plenty of activities on the property from bike riding, golf, trap shooting, falconry, etc..
We stayed in Ashford Lodge which was just fine… you need a dinner / lunch reservation to get into the castle."
