The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. "Being silly hack, travel can sometimes be very disappointing and dangerous for me. I was very impressed with a breakfast that was available. Lots of healthy gluten-free options that actually taste good fresh fruit, oats, boiled eggs, fresh juice. This location is very close to Tollymore Forest Park. I chose to walk the 700 m to the gate and along the way I passed a sheep farm. There were baby lambs all over the place and the owner invited me to go pet them. "Couldn’t warm up the pod enough to make it comfortable for the night and the privacy glass does not provide complete privacy even when the directions for it to work were followed. "

"Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there "

"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."
