Lovely clean cottage situated in a very peaceful area. Nice place to get away from every day life and relax. Pet friendly accomodation and hot tub to relax in. Nice welcome from owners.

Absolutely lovely Cottage, views and area are amazing. The owner is so pleasant and helpful. Sill definitely stay here again!!!

Unfortunately I cannot post photos of the property but where to begin. When we arrived we were greeted with full bins and rubbish on the floor which we were told to pick up. The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the hot tub incurs an additional £50 charge that isn’t mentioned on the details and a £150 security deposit that won’t be returned as you’ll be accused of leaving mess on the property. Stay away from

Disappointing

This cottage is in a great location, close to Newcastle, Castlewellan, Tullymore, Murlough and more. However the mattresses need replaced and are very uncomfortable to sleep on. The hottub is a nice feature but for anyone unfamiliar with this type of hottub, you cannot regulate the heat, and once it gets warm enough to get into it quickly gets too hot to be enjoyable. It takes away from the experience having to get out multiple times to add cold water. Also, unfortunately the listing is not accurate, it does not have a pool table or table tennis, and very strangley Jo tried to defend the mistake, and it felt like I was being blamed for believing the listing! For this reason I would not stay here again. I tried to add photographs of the listing and the messages Jo sent me but the link isn't working.
