"Our stay was perfect. The Tara hotel staff were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast was always piping hot. The buffet was excellent too. Rooms were very comfortable. Very spacious. We had a Juliet balcony which looked out over the Killybegs harbour. The food in the restaurant was excellent too. We ate there a couple of nights. "The room was nicely appointed but uncomfortably warm due to time of year. A fan was provided but only gives little help and was noisy. Lighter TOG bedding would be helpful in the summer months. Food in the evening was nice but the menu could be a little more expansive when guests are staying several nights. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. "Good location. The spacious and modern apartments are situated right in the center. Excellent beds. Mini fridge. Parking is available right outside. A good base for exploring the south of County Donegal. The town itself is small and lively."
