"I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. "We got a warm welcome from the staff at reception when we arrived which set the scene for a lovely relaxed stay. Our room was clean, well equipped, quiet with a nice view of the garden. We had a nice evening meal in the bar restaurant with excellent service and our breafast was all we could wish for. Wish we were able have stayed a bit longer. Will definitely be back. "

"Woodhill House is a charming old manor house in a lovely little town. The room was spacious and clean and the area was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, though they only start serving at 8:30am so plan accordingly. John was a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed.
