"very unorganized at check in. did not have available the room that was originally booked. gave us grief at check out for having a 3rd person, although room was booked as a quad family room from the start and notified them at check in, while we were standing at desk that we had 3 adults not 2. requested room to be cleaned on day 2 and no one came to clean. budget hotel, with unknowledgable staff, different rules daily with different staff. wouldn't stay again. "

"What an amazing place. Very quaint building. Was made to feel like we were at home the moment we walked in. Steve is an amazing manager and made us smile and laugh as soon as we walked in. The breakfast in the morning is small but perfect for the setting. The return guests we met are all wonderful and see why they keep coming back "

"Rooms were immaculate! Remodeled smaller because the building it old part of Larne but that’s the quaint we were looking for. Convenient to ferry to get to Scotland. Breakfast was Awesome! Order the Soda Bread!! You won’t be disappointed…"

"Did exactly what I needed it for! Room very small would find it hard as a couple but for single occupancy was perfect. Close to everything I needed. Very little staff interaction, handed keys for check in, handed them back for check out - A little bit of chat would have helped!"

Rooms unfortunately big let down 1 bath towel for 2 ppl double room 2 single beds pushed together pillows very uncomfortable small tv nice hotel but unfortunately quality of rooms let it down, not worth what i paid, wouldn't return or recommend "

"This was the perfect hotel to get over jetlag and start exploring Belfast. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite nice and included a buffet as well as eggs to order. I appreciated that the hotel provided parking, and the location was incredible. This hotel was a very good value for the price. The Tara Lodge exceeded my expectations and was an excellent start to a wonderful holiday in Ireland. I would definitely stay here again given the chance. "

"The hotel itself is very nice, the staff are friendly, and overall we had a great stay. The room was excellent the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The staff at reception and throughout the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. One downside is that for a 4-star hotel you need to book the pool in advance because it’s shared with a gym club. Also, the hotel makes it look like they have a jacuzzi, but in reality they don’t. We also ordered room...
