The Hotel at Arundel Preserve

The Hotel at Arundel Preserve

10/10 Excellent
"I was so impressed with The Hotel at Arundel Preserve from start to end! We were only there one night for an early flight out of Baltimore airport. It's a beautiful, clean property. Everyone was so nice. The front desk was very welcoming and friendly with an easy check-in. We ate dinner at the restaurant inhouse and it was delicious with great service. Early morning check-out was a breeze, and the two shuttle drivers we encountered were both so friendly and professional. And then the best part (which could have turned out really bad) -- I left my diamond necklace & earrings on the desk in our room, not realizing it until we had flown home. I called the hotel, they had housekeeping immediately follow up with me. They found it and sent it back to me! So appreciative of housekeeping for helping me get these cherished items back. I will absolutely stay here again!"

What is a historic hotel like in Baltimore?
A historic hotel gives guests an opportunity to stay in a building recognised with an official historic designation. These types of hotels in Baltimore typically preserve original characteristics like traditional architecture and period features in their public spaces or guestrooms.

The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to emphasise the building and architecture itself. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in Baltimore have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but hotel interiors are fitted with modern conveniences and safety features. In Baltimore, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's rundown.
