"Incredible stay at BacuaBay, we stayed in the presidential suite with a family of 5 (2 adults 3 teenagers) and it was immaculate, very roomy, to spread out and very comfortable. Clean great bathrooms and pool is awesome and huge! The gardens are beautiful with jetty and a bar on the jetty, we loved our stay here. Staff could not be more helpful and friendl."

"First ferry transfer was 2 hours after they said they would be there. Second ferry transfer was 1 hour after they said they would leave. Can't trust them to make reliable plans. Pools were so dirty you could use them. Pubes in the bathroom on arrival. Food was not good and expensive. Staff were friendly. Mini jet skis, $500 pesos for half an hour were fun. Kayaks at $300 pesos an hour were not worth it. Clean air though."

"Discovery Island Resort was incredible. The property was so chilled and tranquil. The room, pool, restaurant and the grounds were lovely and spotlessly maintained. But most of all the management and staff were wonderful. Toni and her team were always courteous and efficient...and made us feel welcome the whole time. Can't wait to stay there again. "Airport Shuttle was 250php and was pretty good value considering the alternatives. Skylodge hotel was ok. The rooms are minimal and the bar/kitchen areas were sometimes not manned. The staff I met were nice as is typical in the Philippines. Nice view but the walk up the hill was a turn off. Worth the money? If it you have left it late to book and all kithrt hotels sre full then sure. "

"One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Coron. Super friendly staff and very helpful in helping with transportation and tours. You'll need transportation to get into town. Shopping is not close by. Very reasonable fares in the tricycle transport. You'll enjoy the rides"

"We had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and our kids absolutely loved spending time in the pool. Breakfast offered a good variety each day, which we appreciated. "If u want a quiet place to stay at far from the tourism noise , this is your place . Tricycles are available all the time for less than a dollar if you are hungry for fast foods. Little stores are a few steps away if u need basic necessities and they are cheap! Want souvenirs? These stores are 3-5 ‘minutes on foot . You will not get a very good view of the waters from your room and I believe from anywhere in the hotel. But the pier is not too far away . And someone will pick you up...

"Quite an old property, there were towels down in the public areas as it leaked when it rained. Felt like the floors had never been cleaned (very very dusty), and there were also "soft spots" in the floor that felt like we might fall through at any moment. Staff were very helpful, and the building location right by where the island tours depart was convenient, but didn't make up for the rundown nature of the building overall. The provided wifi didn't reach our room either. "
