"The hotel needs to update its facilities because it is already too old. It does not live up to it’s 4-star hotel status. We booked it hoping that we will have a wonderful experience in a 4-star hotel, but we were very disappointed with the quality of room we had. "Poor. I don’t usually write reviews, I booked this hotel as I have stayed in Hyatt’s around the world, this is by far the worst. Staff poorly trained, trying to order room service on the phone was impossible as they didn’t understand. The pool was dirty. Staff more concerned with the Ramadan buffet guests who are not staying at the hotel rather than their actual guests. Alcohol is also an issue here, we asked for a bottle of wine to take to our room and we were present with it in a black bag like it was contraband!! Serve alcohol or don’t, but don’t make western guests feel guilty for ordering something on the menu. Finally the rooms are poor, clearly not upgraded since the 80’s, there is however a refurbishment program underway which is long overdue. "
