We did not receive the room we had booked. We had booked a king bed and had a confirmation for that but were told at desk when we arrived that we had booked two queens. Even when i showed them the confirmation email, we were told that it was wrong that their records showed something different and they did not have a king available for the length of our stay. We could have it for thursday night but someone else booked it for friday and saturday. Of course we were not interested in moving after one night.They told us we should take it up with Expedia.
Although the room was surface clean, it needs a serious deep cleaning. We stayed 3 nights and our room was never serviced during our stay. we had to ask for clean towels twice. We were unable to turn the AC on and had to get a manager in Upon arrival. The TV remote was missing and We again had to call for help. The ice machine did not work at all during our stay. We were not at all pleased with the stay at the River Oak and will not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.
